Rank, Dense Rank, Hrank Function

Hi All,

could you please help me in understanding the logic behind Rank, Dense Rank, Hrank Function.

1. Why and in which scenario we're using it ?
2. what exactly the difference between these 3 functions. ?
3. What will be the syntax ?
4. are these Script function or chart function ?
5. Example: I've have below table, i need to apply these function Rank, Dense Rank, Hrank Function. How to do that in chart and script both ?

Customer ID	Customer Name	Location	SalesPerson Name	SalesPerson City	Revenue	Profit
101	Elon	America	Elon	Newyork	10000	500
