Straight table calculate percentage Column width

Hello all,

Is it possible to calculate the percentage of the column width in a straight Table?

In my attempt, I was able to enter a fixed value, but not a formula. No error message appears; the field simply remains empty and is outlined in red.

See examples in the attachment.

Thanks a lot and best regards,

H

Yes it does.
Search for width on this articel:
Sense Enterprise on Windows Release Notes - Novemb... - Qlik Community - 2535413

You will find the following:
Fixed an issue where the column width written as an expression in the straight table did not work.

So you would have to update to November 25 Release.
I tested on QlikCloud, therefore it worked for me.

Just tested it, works fine for me.
Expressions like =20/5 or with other expressions like =Count(Field)/count(Field)/2*100 work fine.
What is the desired expression you want to evaluate?

Hi @NoahF,

thanks for the quick reply. Interesting, that it is working for you. I've created a test app, with dummy data and a straight table. There for me it is not possible to calculate the column width with expression like =20/5 or =1*5. The expression I desired to use is even more complicated. I' have forgotten to mention the information about my Qlik Sense version. I use Qlik Sense on Window May 2025. Could that be relevant?

Hi @NoahF ,

thanks for the link and the explanation. Now it's clear, why it didn't work for me. So with the next update this should be solved for us.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards!
