Transferring app ownership

Hello, 

I have been using Qlik Sense for only a month. I will be eaving my position in a few months and I will have my Qlik Sense account deleted. By that time, I will have created apps very useful to my team's work. 

Do you know how I will be able to transfer the ownership of the apps I will have created to a fellow teamate Qlik sense user ? 

I know that I can manage the app's properties (enclosed capture) but I have not seen where you can edit the ownership of one of your app as its owner...

Hi Abonnery,

I would be happy to help you with that! So, by default, the creator of a resource is the owner. The ownership can be changed when you edit the resource.

Note: Only admins with the required administrative rights can change the ownership of a resource.

Do the following:

1. From the resource overview, select the resource for which you want to change the owner and click Edit.

2. Start typing in the Owner field.

   Users that match your criteria are displayed.

3. Select the user who you want to assign as the new owner. You can only assign ownership to a user who exists in the Qlik Sense system.

4. Click Apply.

5. Successfully updated is displayed.

Thank you for helping me. But where do you find the resource overview on the hub ? I don't know if  I have the required administrative rights to change the ownership of a resource.

Where do you edit resources ? And what is a resource on Qlik Sense?

Hello, 

I have already seen this page before posting on this forum and it didn't help at all.

I still don't know when reading this page what is and where to find the resource overview on my Qlik sense hub ... (and it provided me with the same instructions as the ones on your previous answer). 

As soon as I will have found the resource overview on Qlik sense I think I will be able to solve the issue, but I haven't yet done so...

Only the App owner himself can transfer the ownership ? What about Analytics admin - can he /she change the ownership of an app to someone else even if it's not personally owned ? I need to be able to duplicate / export an app owned by my colleague. what is the possibility ?
