Updating Qlik Sense Load Script without Code Change

Hi,

We have a load script that contains a hard coded list of account numbers & hierarchy IDs to return data for. From time to time these account numbers update and we have to go through a change release to update the load script, which often delays our reporting

Do you have any best practice suggestions for maintaining a list of criteria other than a standard table in a database somewhere (i.e. in Qlik Sense itself?)

Why not maintaining these values within an excel-table and loading than these excel (it's a quite common approach)?
