Use buttons to filter rather than selecting values from filter Pane

Hi, I have a question and I am expecting to get a solution  -

I have two filter panes i.e., Year and Department,
values in year - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021
values in department - External, Internal, IT, SSS_IN, SSE_GS

I want to apply filter both these at same time  i.e. -
year - 2018, 2021 and
department - IT, SSE_GS, External
but I want to click a button and this filter should apply automatically rather than selecting it from the filter panes
can someone please give me the solution in step by step so that I can do it by my self easily

Hi @ZIG,

This fairly simple to implement.

Either by creating a bookmark and using it in buttons object or else adding inputs in button object itself

Steps:

  1. Drag and Drop Button on canvas Vishal_Gupta_0-1671204241680.png

  2. Apply bookmark you created with your desired selectionVishal_Gupta_1-1671204379667.png
  3. Alternate step: Select values in field for all dimensionVishal_Gupta_2-1671204473557.png

  4. Test your button after setting up. it should select your desired values.

Do let me know if this helps.
