User login in Linux environments

Hello

I have this question, when you have a Linux environment and you access your Qlik Sense the login page shows in the Username field "Domain\User".  If you input your email as Username, like in a Windows environment, it doesn't work, of course the prompt asks for "Domain\User".

My question is that:

1- Is this a Linux thing?

2- Is there a way to make the email login as Username in Linux?

Thank you

Rui

Hello @RuiSalgueiro ,

1- Is this a Linux thing?

  • Yes.

2- Is there a way to make the email login as a Username in Linux?

  • Not exactly.
    • Qlik Sense Enterprise: Windows Server version of Qlik Sense and service-based software meant to be available to multiple users all the time.
    • Qlik Sense Desktop: Local version of Qlik Sense and standalone, meant to be installed on local Windows computers.

Hi Rakesh

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, we got the idea. We got our Linux users to login with Domain\User.

Thank you!
