Using a button to apply a selection

How would I use a button to filter a field and apply the selection to all the charts on the sheet that use that field? 

I have tried using "Select values in a field" and putting Temperature>20 in the expression editor but clicking the button still has no effect on the sheet.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Temperature>20 is not a value but a search term. I therefore suggest using the action "Select values matching search criteria".
