Why the persistent colours is greyed out here?

Hi All, 

I want to use two bar charts next to each other with the stack bars and I noticed that the persistent colors option is ticked and greyed out. I don't want to use persistent colors. How can I untick this option? Is there any reason why it is set like that? I'm on Qlik Sense Cloud.

Maybe because the used dimension is a master dimension with a preset color in master item?

When you have multiple dimensions in a bar chart (and others?) the color scheme automatically switches to Persistent colors presumably so that the same colors appear in each (stacked) bar instead of rotating through the colors.
