Creating a Storyboard

Evening All,

I am just starting my journey with Qlik Sense having used QlikView for a number of years. I have developed a Qlik Sense model which has a number of sheets, which I would like to build a storyboard with. I want the storyboard to be fairly generic, so that when I make selections they are applied to the storyboard. I want to use the same storyboard, but just select the customer I am presenting to and run through the storyboard. When I select another customer, I want to run through the same storyboard showing the newly selected customer's information.

Currently the storyboard is created using the selections at the time of selecting. Even if I select another customer, when I play the storyboard the selections revert back to the selections when the storyboard was created.

How do I get Qlik Sense to respect the latest selections I have made and to ignore the selections that were made when the storyboard was created?

Some assistance on this matter would be appreciated. We are using on premises Qlik Sense.

If you by storyboard mean the storytelling functionality, you are out of luck. Unfortunately there is no way to update snapshots or make snapshots reflect current selections. For many (like myself), this makes the storytelling function more or less useless.

Thanks for the response. After further investigation I see there is an option to embed an object. By going onto the sheet you can embed the object or the sheet which creates an iframe text. According to the videos you can paste these into a web page. When I go to my story and try to paste this copied text to the sheet, the paste icon is shaded, so I am unable to paste it. Should one be able to paste the iframe text into the new slide?
