create a folder

is there a way on Qlik you can create a folder to store QVD files. 

I am pulling data directly from our data base and I would like store it as a QVD format, but the problem is i have no folder created to save such data.

Hi @Ayden, you only need to have created the root folder for your file connection. Every sub-folder for saving your QVDs will be created if needed.

For example, if your lib connection (MyFolder) points to C:\MyFolder, if you save a QVD file in lib://MyFolder/anysubfolder/folderA/myfile.qvd(qvd), subfolders anysubfolder and folderA will be created if they don't exist.

hello JG how do I create root folder connection this is for work we are using enterprise, i do have access to create a connection in the load script.
