how to default filters when sense app opens

I have an app with charts by year/month. I want to default filters to look at the past year when a user opens the app along with a few other filters. However, I would like to allow the option to go back beyond a year and clear out the other filters if a user wants. Don't want to limit the users to the filters but rather give a nice starting point for analysis.

1. Open the Data Load Editor and the app in two separate windows.

2. Make your selections in the app and keep the window open

3. Save the app via the Data Load Editor

wasn't having luck with this in Sense 3.0

For me worked when openning in 2 different browser windows.

Why don't QLIK allow that? It worked but seems to be a bug

As Felipe suggested, you need to have the same app open in two different browser windows (ensure session sharing is enabled).
