how to exclude null values from assigning the rownumber in qliksense

suppose i have

A

column in backend

now i want to give row no to

A   rowNO

1     1

2     2

3     3

-     3

4     4

in UI

i want to do this in UI only since data in backend is huge,

is there a way i can do this

try this:

if(len(trim(A))<>0, rowno()) as Rowno

in your table object you can add a new measure as below:

if( not isnull(A) or len(trim(A)) > 0, rowno(TOTAL) )
