property panel does not have appearance

i am following the tutorial on "building an app".

i was at the stage (section 6 on NEW version of the tutorial. can you guys remove the old one?) of creating the pie chart.

in step 8 i need to click the appearance in the property panel on the right. i CANNOT find the colors and legend too in step 9.

8. In the propertiespanel to the right, click Appearance > Presentation and select Donut .

9. Still in the propertiespanel, click Colors and legend

I HAVE the property panel on the right. but there is NO appearance anywhere under any tab.

I just downloaded qlik sense desktop last week.

all i see is

data

add-ons

there is NO appearance showing when i click the pie chart.

however, when i opened the tutorial "begining with basics" , in the dashboard i click pie chart the Appearance tab appeared.

why is it when create the pie chart appearance does not appear??

i finally see the appearance.... it is hiding , only its edge is showing, u should fix this display problem
