Suppress Row in Pivot Chart

I've been trying to figure this out, based on a separate question in the following thread:

http://community.qlik.com/thread/148381

In attached file, how can the Pivot Chart only display rows where "RCA_WISE" has a value?

Seems simple enough, but no matter what I try, it is not working.

Even I find it working fine when I select Supress Zero-values. Might be a bug in your version?

Hi Joseph,

If you go to the Presentation tab and select 'Suppress Zero-Values' this will get rid of anything not returning a rank.

Yes, I tried that and it does not work, in context of this particular chart.  That is what I'm trying to figure out, it doesn't make sense why it is not working.

I downloaded your attached document, selected suppress zero-values, and it seems to work fine for me?

I just opened the .qvw you attached and I still see the empy rows (with dashes).  I'm not sure what is happening.

I've got Version 11.20.11922.0 SR2

Seems strange there would be a bug like this.  Could you send screen shot of what it looks like, or re-attach the .qvw you got it working with, like Aaron did?

See the snapshot below and the application attached. I use 11.2 SR6

I think this could be your issue - I've got SR8 and SR2 running on various platforms, it works fine for me on SR8 but has the same issue you're seeing in SR2.

EDIT: Ah - just read from a previous thread that suppression of zero values is automatically disabled when the Rank() function is used and NULL values are disregarded. I'm assuming this is handled differently in later SRs than SR2 hence the difference.
