Qlik Sense app migration error. One or more service is down

Hi

I am facing multiple issues. one is here and I think they are all related.

1. While trying to upload new application i am getting error.

'Cannot connect to the remote server. One or more services such as migration services or engine services, may be down or unresponsive'

I have checked services they are all up and running. I restarted them and every thing is working. but getting this error constantly.

2. Other related issue is i am unable to reload task for operation monitor and license monitor. Other task that i have configured are working fine.

Can any one please help. screen shot is attached

Regards

Hi Adnan,

Did you solved this problem? or do you have an idea what could cause it?

Hi Michal,

I haven't resolved it yet, but i think its access issue on Qlik folder where logs and repository is stored.

I have asked network team to provide access will be confirmed then.

Will keep you posted. Meanwhile let me know if you find any solution.

thanks

Hi Everyone,

We are facing the exact same problem. We installed a version of Qlik Sense enterprise and we tried to migrate our apps from Qlik Sense desktop to this newer version.

The migration fails with the same message than Adnan. In ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Apps, there is an entry for each import we tried, but none of them appear in the hub.

In the log section, there is a huge log file (3Gb in less than 3 hours). It seems that the server is continually trying to migrate the apps (for less than 10 files in the Apps folder, we have more than 20k log files). You'll find attached to this message the last log file with the server adress removed).

Hi Alain,

I got it resolved by setting permission on to write for user.

If logs are being created then user must be having permission. Try to use Admin user for migration with all privileges.
