qlik sense central node high availability

Per my testing, when the central node is offline, I cannot access all the apps, even I’m connecting to the RIM node and those app was synced to the RIM node.

Appreciate if you can share your experience?

Just tested it - you need to make sure the rim nodes have their own proxy, but they work fine even without the central node.

Isn't it when the central node is down, everything is down?

I think Dion is right. When the central node is down, everything is down. Do you have any Qlik document that shows something else?

I might add to my post, even though one will be able to access the apps via the rim nodes, node sync'ing will not be taking place and adding users/allocating licenses will not be possible either as this is done by the central node itself.
