App level Access in Qliksense but issue in app object access

Hello Community,

I am trying to achieve App level access in qliksense.

I have used Qlik Sense Stream Management Security Rules and Exception Management this video which worked perfectly for restricting App in a stream.

But I am facing issue with Sheets after changing default Stream Rule and creating new rules.

Is there anything I need to change for Sheets or App Objects?

yes , did you alter any App object related rules ?

Check page 8 of this PDF, if you touched on the App objects rule that will create issue.

I havent change anything in app object rule..

Only i followed the steps from video

Do you have repository  backup ? if you have restore back to original then instead of altering any default rules, create your own rule and check.

but to create new rule and get it applied to app/streams , we will have to alter the default rule. correct?

Otherwise it wont get applied.

Default roles remains same when create new streams and add rules to the streams. you don't need to alter them.

my default rule is not allowing me to give app level access.

Default stream rule give access to all app published in stream

Can you share the rule you are using now ?
