Action buttton using selection to carry forward to next sheet

Issue:
Way to carry forward the selections using  button by appling bookmark and natvigation actions.

Desired output :
Showcasing the results of the leave status for the  selected Departments,Directorates from the home sheet. 

Solution tried:
Created Book mark for the status = "Leave"  and tried the actions Apply book mark and navigating to next sheet on button which is showing below output.

Can some one advise the steps to achieve the desired output . I have already tried actions like slection onXXXX* options but none of them helped and also we would like to leave the selection to enduser hence can't include any particular field under bookmark.
