I have an alternate states inquiry. Working on a new dashboard that I inherited and is designed in multiple states based on one field(Field 1). Currently there are 3 filters at the top for Field 1 and the selection of the field creates an alternate state on the selection; it is currently limited to single selection.
Alternate States are:
- Main Organization - Used in all charts and used in tables
- Main Comparator - Used in all charts and leveraged to calculate delta of Main Organization in tables
- Additional Organization - Used in all charts
The ask is to allow for additional organization state to have multiple selections, however cannot figure out a simple way to achieve without having to re-design the entire dashboard. If I create a duplicate field on field 1 and call it field 2 in same table, it still only allows one selection based on relation to field 1 and alternate state locks it.
Any direction to solve for allowing additional selections for alternate state(Additional Organization) would be appreciated.
