Change the file name before it is downloaded in Qliksense

I am using Qliksense cloud May 2023 patch version , downloaded excel sheet names are in crypted  format,is it possible to customize or individualized the files names with date in excel,PDF ?

If you’re using the app UI it is not.

Alternatives could be:

- Automation

- Tabular reporting 

Not quite the same but adaptable

Thanks for the reply, can you confirm Tabular reporting is only available for Qlik Cloud saas ? I am using Qliksense May 2023 patch 6 version on cloud server.

Oh, I see. Yes, these options are only available in the cloud. 

In your case, you need to purchase and use NPrinting instead. Download data to Excel from a Qlik Sense UI object does not allow the rename of the file prior to the download.

Thanks, I am using NPrinting May2023 SR2 version. Which is not supporting dynamic tables for adhoc reporting. I have calculated dimensions, calculated conditions for showing the columns by user's choice.the user chooses from the list of dimensions to be shown in the table. In NPrinting the object is showing as it is in excel . Not rendering as column,rows like normal excel sheet functionalities.

I was checking this again in a Sense Client Managed server we have here and I might have good news. This server is on February 2024 version.

If my table has a Title, the Excel file name matches the title.
