Different measure dependent on dimension?

I can't for the life of me work out how to do this.

Lets say we have two dimensions. One as the main and one as the alternative. 

I want it to work like this:

If the dimension selected is submitted date then the measure should be sum(professionals).

If the dimension selected is submitted month, then the measure should be avg(professionals)

I was hoping this should be easy to do but i can't work it out at all.

Hi, when I have to do something like this I usually use the variable object, each variable value will filter some of the dimensions or expression using the 'show if' condition. even some times I used a container with diffrent charts, and the variable value is sused to select the chart to show.
