Field containing positive and negative numbers giving me a wrong result

Hi!

Soemthing weird going on here:

I got an Excel file whose column contains negative and positive numbers, giving me x result.

When I bring it to Qlik Sense, it gives me a different result. The difference is not so big, but still considerable.

I'm wondering if there'd have to be any handling in this case...Can't find the origin of the issue.

Cheers,

Antonio

Hi, @agni_gold !

Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

The field on the excel file results in -5,422 (correct), while on Qlik Sense, it gives me -5,426. There is no operation other than the regular sum and this is the only field giving me a different number than the source.

I suggest you to create the same table in qlik, export it and compare it in excel with a column calculating the difference (vlookup in the key or something similar). With that you will be able to find in which rows you have some difference.
