Legacy mode only on central node

Hi,

So our users do not hit the central node when using apps(they are redirected to our rim nodes), for this reason I want to enable legacy mode only on our central node to facilitate some features that need legacy mdoe, is this possible or do i need to enable legacy mode on all servers?
