Prepare data is working only on flat files ?

Hello,

I would like to know if the option to add calculation filed will work on any database or just for flat files.

I tried to load Access Data base and for some reason i cant "Edit" those filed at "Data Manager" .

Also i would like to know if "Auto Calendar" is working automatically on any Data Base as well.

It should be possible to add a calculated field on any table, also those coming from databases.

And, yes, the calendar can be used on any date field, irrespectively of if it comes from a flat file or a database.

Hi,

Once the data or file have been loaded into Qlik Sense you can add calculated field using fields from the source file.

I guess you just need to unlock the script, in order to edit it.
