Slider object in Qlik Sense

Hello,

I'm migrating an application from QlikView to Qlik Sense. In QV, there is a slider object, where I can set two variables, a min, a max and a step. The result is a slider to select a range of years.

Is something similar possible in Qlik Sense or is there even a slider object to use?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Steasy2

Yes, you can use the Variable input object (slider mode). In slider mode, it creates a slider that updates a variable value, where you define the minimum with Min, the maximum with Max, and the step with Step.

Add a variable input object, and under Variable properties, select Show as: slider.

Please check the link: Variable input control | Qlik Sense on Windows Help

I hope that helps.

Hi @Steasy2

Funny you mention this almost on the day when Qlik has released dedicated native slider object which has the same options as QlikView equivalent. This is currently in Cloud but long term I am expecting this to be also available on prem.

cheers
