Unsupported file format when opening published application

got this error when opening a published application;

duplicating the application and opening the copy into personal workspace works fine

publication (replace existing application) generated the same error message.

so i was forced to delete the application and publish it again as new. (= User content could have been lost)

can someone help me identify/correct the problem ?

Hi Mikael,

According to you , When you not published the application and you are the owner of the same application you can open it from HUB and MY Work Space but when you published it and try to open it from any stream it is giving you an error ?

yes.

I also tried duplicating and changing the owner; in the workspace, there is no problem

my guess is that "something" happened with the published app (sort of corruption problem experienced in earlier releases of QS) but not affecting duplications...

Hi Mikael,

Hope you are using latest Qlik Sense 3.2 , If not please o it. Now you can open it from hub but when you published it and tried to open it from stream , Ideally it shouldn't be happen. Now, I am assuming, you are the owner of this particular app and with same user you are opening it and getting error. Can you do one thing, Create a new duplicate of this app. Create new stream and give permission to another user in this stream with this app from security rules and then let me know if you are facing same issue again
