My work stream is littered with versions of code which I am not ready to delete. I am currently exporting oldest versions of my applications to a network share and deleting them from the QMC. If I want to look at a historical version, I import the old version back into Qlik Sense. This is way to time consuming and I am sure there is a better way. Please help me learn a better way! Thanks
I thought I recalled our Qlik sales team mention that Qlik was working on source control over a year ago so maybe it "will be in the next release". Anyway it is good to know that an upgrade won't fix my issue for now. Thanks!
Hi there
We recently attended a Qlik organised event and a product called WIP was endorsed. In the demo they had versioning, checkouts and source control. They could even interpret the JSON in the qvf file to show show you what changed in the sheets. It looked really impressive, built I have unfortunately not used it myself. I just forgot to ask them whether you can compare changes in the script in the data load editor, but I assume they will be able to. If I remember correctly they have a demo environment where you can try it out yourself.

We are looking for something similar to TFS/GitHub as well and these guys look like an option.

Did you happen to find anything or try anything? Two additional solutions that one of our team members brought back from Qonnections was:

Anyone using these? What about the WIP product mentioned previously?
Hi there
Unfortunately we haven't started using any of these as some of the functionality will be covered in our platform that we are building. We are still considering looking at WIP, but we're just not there yet. Thanks for the presentations, they are very insightful.

Mauritz
As far as I can tell it looks like more effort than it is worth. For now, I export the apps before republishing to create "restore point". However this is far from true version control.
I'd suggest taking a look at the Qlik EAPowerTools - Community: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Sense-EA-Powertools/bd-p/qlik-sense-ea-powertools - Github: https://github.com/eapowertools
Also, I've heard good things about itelligence and in4bi
