Connect to different social media by Qlik Sense

Dear all,

I want to connect different platform to collect data, like Forums, Facebook accounts , Twitter accounts, Weibo accounts and YouTube accounts. I am not the owner of these platforms. Can I use Qlik to connect these accounts and keep updating in Qlik Sense?

Yes! Qlik Sense can connect to pretty much anything, just some things are easier than others.

Are you using Enterprise, Desktop or Cloud Services (any flavour)?

The connectors in Cloud Services make it very easy to connect to a number of services. The connectors are just there. Some are baked in to the other versions also. 

If the connector you want isn't there you can download and install Qlik Web Connectors (for Desktop and Enterprise On Premise) which opens up more connectors. 

If none of those approaches work you can typically create something with the REST Connector. This can be fiddly though.
