Connecting to Office 365 Sharepoint

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to load an excel document using the Office 365 sharepoint connector available within the qlik web connectors 2.2.0 but without success.

I entered the sharepoint base url then tried to Authenticate, but how should i get the authentication code?

The popup doesn't display anything, the client_id in the popup link doesn't work as a code neither.

Is there another way to connect (also some documents are not public, so they are accessible only for the logged in user)

Hi - When you say the 'popup doesn't display anything' - what do you mean? Does a blank window open? Does nothing happen?

Hi Chris,

The page that opens displays the attached image (pic1).

And if I click on my name, I'd get the pic2 (attached).

Should I extract the authentication code from the link?

Thanks.

You shouldn't need to extract anything from the browser address bar (if that's what you are suggesting).

Can you not click on the name in pic2 to continue with the auth flow?

Ok no problem

But can you please clarify how can I get the authentication code?

As nothing is happening in the web connector interface (image attached) nor in the opened popup.

Appreciate your help

In your screen shot there is no Client ID. How did you remove the client id?

What is your connector version? mine is 0.8.6.19733

Thank you!

Client ID has been removed from the latest version.

Chris,

Thanks for your follow-up.

I can assure you I am not clicking on anything

That's the url that's opened in the popup window:

https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx...

Yesterday I tried taking the client_id part and use it as authentication code, but I was getting the below error:

An error occurred while trying to authenticate. (status code = 500, Invalid authentication code [1])

Vishnu,

That's the connector version 0.8.8.20138

It's found in the qlik web connectors 2.2.0.

Thanks

I would like to do a quick screen share with you, but I can't figure out how to DM you.
