Creating data connection from QS on AWS to on-premise server

Hi,

I am trying to reuse QVDs from an on-premise QlikView server in a Qlik Sense server on AWS. Can someone please help how do I create the data connection. Are there any specific ports that needs to be opened to achieve that?

Regards,

Bhaskar

check are you able to access AWS server from your onpremises server. if not contact to you windows team and check. you have to access it like remote directory path.

There are certain considerations:

  - There is no trust between the domains (the QS on AWS and the on-premise Qlik environments). So remote directory path won't work

  - The authentication in the QS on AWS is through SAML (gmail)

We just want to know how can we reuse the QVDs lying in our on-premise Qlik Servers. This will save us lot of time we would spend in recreating those QVDs in the Qlik server on AWS.

Bhaskar
