Data Classification with Azure Information Protection and Excel Imports

Dear Qlikies,

In our company, we are implementing data classification via Azure Information Protection - meaning we label all M365 files (Excels, Words, etc.) to external, internal, confidential and highly confidential.

In our HR Analytics dashboards we are importing several Excels, that would now be labeled as confidential or even highly confidential - which means, the creator of the file has to appoint the users, that can access the file.

I tested various scenarios on how this classification impacts our Qlik Environment (Qlik Enterprise) and found, that Qlik can only import Excel Files that are labelled for external use (public).

Has anyone encountered the same problem and knows how i can import files that are more sensitive to qlik?

Thanks

Hi @mkarten This forum is for Qlik Enterprise Manager, a Data Integration product. I think your question is about Qlik Sense Enterprise. You might consider posting your question here to reach the right audience: Qlik Sense | Qlik Community

Thanks,

Dana
