Hi
I've been using Data Manager exclusively and have so far managed to avoid unlocking the Auto-generated section in the Data Load Editor. If I make any change to the source table schema, then I use Data Manager (Select data from source > Edit table > Update) to update the schema.
Recently I deleted a column from the source table, but did not open or update the app for a couple of weeks. When I did open it, the Data Manager had the error message "Data load failed. Resolve the problem and refresh the data", the Edit (pencil) button on the table was gone and only the Delete (trash bin) button remained.
When I added the column back to the source schema, I was able to run a full data load from the Data Load Editor (hence nothing wrong with connection/credentials), but the Data Manager table edit button was still disabled.
This has happened on at least two previous occasions, with different apps, after short time of inactivity (no updates or revisions to the apps). Every time it happens I end up deleting the table and adding it back (both through the Data Manager), then re-creating all the associations and field name aliases. I really like the conveniences offered by the Data Manager GUI and prefer not to use the Data Load Editor for schema updates if possible.
Any help or lead would be appreciated.
