Hi there,
I tried to set up the Qlik Web Connector for Google AdWords today.
This ran smoothly until a report query was set up.
The customer id field is mandatory here.
But there are no values that can be selected in the drop-down menu. Just
"the value must not be NULL. Parameter name: source" can be selected.
However, this entry is invalid and loading is not possible.
Please help.
Thank you in advance!
Many thanks for the answer.
I've now more or less solved the problem.
The reason was that the user is a multi-user for several companies.
I have created a new Google Account with permissions for only one customer.
That worked and now this customer can be selected.
So it was due to the permissions of the Google user.
Hi - Does the Google user that you used to authenticate with the connector definitely have access to the customer you would like to run the query for?
Could you check the QWC log files to see if there are any entries which might point to the underlying cause?
Many thanks for the answer.

OK great - glad you sorted it out!
Hi Benjamin, I just saw this, yes, you are right, we had the same issue some time ago, you need to setup an Googlge Ads account , the Ad Manager account (former MCC) doesn't work with this connector. Then it is sufficient to grant access on the "Read-Only" access level in the account.
BUT: Do you know, the AdWords API will be discontinued by Google by April 27, 2022? We cannot get any information from Qlik, how they will treat it in the future.
Actually, by then the Google AdWords API needs to be migrated to the Google Ads API. The AWQL scripts have to change to GAQL.
We are a little lost and don't have any information on this.
