How do I Manually Refresh Data in Qlik Sense Desktop?

I am using Qlik Sense Desktop version "September 2019". I've created an app with some bar charts. I have changed some of the raw data that is in the Excel file that I originally imported for the App.

How do I manually refresh the app to make it aware the raw data has been modified? I've seen several different methods and none of them are available on Qlik Sense Desktop version "September 2019".

  • The Desktop Hub individual App no longer has the settings dropdown to allow me to select "Refresh Data". There is only an "i" that lists details of the app.
  • Right clicking on the The Desktop Hub individual App only gives two options "Open without data" or "delete". There is no option to refresh data.
  • Clicking on "Data" just brings me to a dashboard with my Excel sheet shown as a circle in the middle of the page. The head of the table is at the bottom of the page. There's no buttons to "refresh data" and I right click everywhere and no menus are invoked. If I click on "Load Data" it appears to "load data" but nothing is refreshed.

What are the specific steps, in sequence, for me to access data I've already loaded, and refresh it?

Try reloading at the very right button from Data Load Editor.
