Hello, Qlik community!
I have the following issue. I have companies that own a number of units(units are represented as places where a store or a parking space can be established), and the number of units per company will be updated monthly. How do I get the maximum of units per company per Month within a year and when I see through the years I see the Max of the months for the year for each company?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi there,
Could you be provide some sample data. Will help with suggestions.
I would probably looking to do something via Script where you
Load
Company,
Month,
Year
COUNT(DISTINCT Unit) as [Unit Count]
Resident table
Group By Company, Year, Month;
@Atrox Please provide us some sample data to look into it in details. But I see the solution provided by @Mark_Little should help you otherwise.
Hello,
I will expand on the problem I have and give more details as to what the exact problem is. For example, in the above case, VMK Fonds is a company and the company has unit names like the above(garage, office, and so on), and the numbers indicate how many are there. The measure there is a simple sum(Units), but as you can see the numbers next to the unit names do not correlate with the numbers next to the Company names. So therefore I wanted to change the measure to "a maximum of units per company per Month within each year" to ensure that the table is working correctly. However, I might be really wrong in this case since I am very new to the platform. How do I solve the above table so it shows the correct numbers next to the unit names?
Thanks in advance for the help.
