We have an app that surfaces multiple objects to an external non-Qlik application. My question is how many licenses does this consume? Is it one per connection to the Qlik app, regardless of number of objects? Or is it one per object consumed? Or something else? Trying to advise a client on licensing, for future architecture decisions. Thank you in advance for any and all experiences.
Consuming a mashup is consuming licenses as if your users are opening the source application in the hub. It does not care if you are displaying one or many objects.
You do however need to make sure that the users are eligible to consume the application by the security rules.
What kind of licensing model do you have?
Pretty sure it is the user-based licenses model. For this instance, we have 1 Professional license and 10 Analyzer licenses.
If I understand you correctly a mashup would consume one Analyzer license, to connect to the app, regardless of the number of objects it displays?
Thank you.
