Loading data of qvd files from ftp

Dear all,

I have few QVD files which I want to use as data source using web file connection in QlikSense Desktop - April 2018, ver 12.16.2.

I put in the URL correctly with username and password

But I only get the file names listing as data from that ftp folder, but not actual QVD files which I can select to get the data from.

Any suggestions to correct the situation will be appreciated.

Seems only way is to create a separate connection for each QVD file on the ftp server.

As only providing ftp folder URL does not allow selection of files to take data from.
