Loading the same QVD file twice (as a duplicate)

Hi all,

I am trying to connect a QVD file that contains the information of my participants. It's a simple QVD with the following frame:

ID | Registration Date | Status

I've already connected it with a different data set via the ID key, and I've tried making a canonical date, but it does not solve what I am trying to do. 

I wanted to try duplicating that same QVD in order to be used in a different manner. But every time I drag the QVD in via Data Manager or add it via the Data Load Editor, it overrides my original QVD I've added in. 

How can I resolve this?

Do I make another QVD and rename it?

OR 

Is there a  way to connect the QVD without further back end changes?

Hi @calvintang ,

Do I make another QVD and rename it?  Yes, you need to name it differently and column names also need to be different except ID field to avoid the synthetic key.
