We recently upgraded from Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows to version May 2025 patch 5. In some situations I get multiple "copies" of data connectors in the data connection panel in data load editor. It looks like this:
That's two (2) different connectors, displayed multiple times.
It seems to stick with the app in which it occurred, so if I close and open that app the problem is still there. But if I open another app the data connector panel looks completely normal.
I'm not sure exactly in what situation this occurs, but it has to do with creating and/or editing a data connection from within the data load editor. It's like when it happens, all (or at least many) of the connectors appear multiple times, not only the one I edited. I have seen it a few times now, but I can't recreate in a test app when I want to try to find out exactly when it happens, so I can't really file a support case.
Anyone else seen anything like this?
Hi, I've never seen that. Have you confirmed that in QMC there is only one of those connectors?
A few tests I would do if that happens to me:
- Duplicate on the app, to check if it still happens on the duplicated app.
- Edit one of the connectors, to confirm if the others receives the edit too. If not, detectc wich one is shown on the 'normal' apps, and delete the copies from the 'buggy' app.
- Delete those connections from qmc and recreate them again

Thanks, good suggestions. It turns out that duplicating the app removes the issue from the copy. AND in the original! This makes me think it may be some kind of caching problem in the browser. Strange, but I'm happy for this simple solution.
I'll answer the other suggestions anyway:
Yes, there are only one instance of each data connector when looking at them in QMC, or in another app. Edit one of the connectors: yes, that alters "all" of them (since it's really just one of each). Deleting one deletes "all" of that connector. It's not actually duplicate connectors, it's just the visual representation of them inside that connector panel in data load editor, and only in the specific app where the problem has occurred. And it (mostly) happens to all of the connectors in the list, not just a few of them.
