Qlik Support Inquiry Regarding Rim Node Issues

Current Version Information

  • Qlik Sense Version: 13.102.11

Issue Description
Currently, the Qlik Sense environment consists of the following nodes: Central, Rim, and Rim2. However, the Rim node is not properly connected.

Details of the Issue:

  1. In the QMC, the Rim node appears to be connected, but 2 out of 5 services are reported as having issues.
  2. The status of the Rim node under QMC > CONFIGURE SYSTEM (Printing, Proxies) is displayed as "Stopped".
  3. On the Rim server, the "Qlik Web Connectors" service fails to restart.
  4. Even after attempting to restart all services on the server, the "Qlik Web Connectors" service remains unresponsive.

@qwebnm do you see anything in the logs on that Rim node?  Was it working fine previously?

also I believe (but I'm not a QS guru) that web connectors usually is run only on the central, not rim?
