Qlik Web Connectors

hi Guys,

I upgraded tot Qlik Web Connectors March 2020.

Now I get these errors.

1. Web File (Google Sheets)

2. When trying to connect to the Web Connection I created above.

I then Tried the following:

1. Trying to start the Web Connectors Service

The most common gotcha with installing the connectors is not following the step in the instructions about unblocking the zip file before you extract from it. Make sure you have done this. 

The service needs to be installed again after an upgrade. Look in the Batches folder and run the install batch file with elevated Administrator privileges. You may need to edit the path or .net details in the batch file to have it work. 

Try starting the service again. 

If you have copied the new version over the top of the old folder ensure that you do not have redundant connectors in the install folder. Unzip to a clean folder and then use a tool such as WinMerge to look at differences. Delete any program files from the QWC folder that no longer exist in the installation. 

Find the log files, check in those for any clues as to what is not working. 

Check Windows events also. 

Once the service is stated ensure you go to the Web configuration page (localhost:5555) to accept the licence before trying to use in Sense.
