REST connection to Xero Accounting from QlikView

Good afternoon. 

I have a Client with an existing QlikView app, connected to their on prem accounting system. They are moving their accounting system to Xero Accounting at the end of the year. Part of the process of moving is to make sure QlikView can connect to Xero. This is what I was tasked with. 

I created a trial license and am working on the Xero Demo company. Using the Postman example provided via their Developer site, I am able to connect and list invoices, contacts etc, for example. 

To try and replicate the connection in QlikView via the REST connector is where I don't have the knowledge, to be honest. I have watched video after video but cannot get the connection setup. BTW, one of the best videos I found was  "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m9ZejlzkkY&ab_channel=ChristofSchwarz". Some people make it look so easy! 

So, I am reaching out to someone who will be able to assist me with this. If you are able to, I would appreciate your help.

Hello @johngouws , thank you for posting!

I took a look at Xero development portal and they seem to require OAUTH2.0.  At this time, Qlik REST connector does not support OAUTH2.0 out of the box.  Reference the following article:

There are some workarounds but these require some additional development that are mentioned in the above article.
