Replacing - Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package

Hi,

Is it possible to change/update the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package" to a different/newer package for SAP Connector? The client's security procedures indicate that it is vulnerable.

Hi,

The "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package" is necessary to run SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET 3.0  (sapnco.dll and sapnco_utils.dll). In the newest installation package of the Qlik SAP Connectors, 8.0.2, the SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET 3.1 is used,  which require Visual C++ Redistributable package for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022. If Qlik Sap Connectors 8.0.2 uses Microsoft .NET 3.1, why does the installation add "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package"?
