Rest Connection in QlikSense throws - HTTP protocol error 403 (Forbidden)

I've tried using the web connector, Office 365 to fetch data from a SharePoint list.  Created the necessary link and when I paste it into a web browser I receive the XML data.

The same, when I try to connect to the share point list via the Rest Connection in Qlik Sense, I receive the following message:

Connection failed:

HTTP protocol error 403 (Forbidden)

The server refused to fulfill the request.

I want to create the Connection in server, how to resolve this.

Do i need to do White list of this IP in proxy to work in server?

Hi,

Any luck in figuring out a solution for this?

The problem we ran into was that the use of IP addresses rather than the host name was causing the issue on the connector.

Could be a permission problem. Keep in mind that REST connector is launched by the service account running Qlik Sense Engine service.

Can you log in to the Qlik Sense server as the service account, open a browser and go to the URL to see if you can get the Sharepoint list?
