SAP OLAP Connector not available in data connection dialog

Hi Guys,

I want to create am new data connection to SAP BW via Qlik Sense SAP OLAP Connector and I am not able to find it in my data connection dialogue. (see attachment)

Is there another way of usage?

Is it not installed?

How can I find out whether it is installed?

Thanx

Ingo

Hi,
As of the latest version (7.0.1), Qlik SAP connector supports only the following connectors for Qlik Sense: Extractor, BAPI, SQL, BEx and InfoProvider - check https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/SAP_Connectors_Help/Content/Connectors_SAP/SAP-SQL...

OLAP connector is supported for QlikView and not yet Qlik Sense. However there is a work-around to use Qlik SAP Connectors for QlikView in Qlik Sense documented at the following article: https://support.qlik.com/articles/000019183

Hope this helps.

Dear VU,

these are very bad news.

My IT forces me to use MDX to access SAP BW and don't want to install Qlik transports in their system.

The only way I found is the OLAP connector.

Is there any other supported way for MDX usage?

by the way - would it work differently in legacy mode?
