SAP SQL Connector returns String instead of numbers after upgrade to 8.0.3

Hi,

we just upgraded our QlikView system from May2023SR1 to May2024IR and Qlik SAP Connector from 8.0.2 to 8.0.3.

Now we noticed a lot of problems, which all are related to the returned data formats. Instead of returning numbers as with SAP Connector 8.0.2, we now get Strings. 

How does this make sense, especially when reading the release notes?

There was an issue with some conversion routines not being carried out during the extraction jobs for some fields, resulting in incorrect formatting of data. This was updated in both SQL and BW connectors (8.0.3).

How can we resolve this without modifying all Load Skripts?

Problem found! 

We had created new connection strings to connect to SAP and intially MixedMode is FALSE, but we need TRUE to get numbers instead of strings.
