I have created a ODBC data connection on the apps and execute the apps to get data on QlikSense desktop platform without problem.
However, we are unable connect to SQL db through ODBC connection in real production environment.
We have published the qlik sense apps to production server.
Any idea about this scenario? Any work around solution?

For better understanding of the issue you need to check Qlik Sense Server log files.
Anyway before moving forward make sure:
- your DB is accessible from QS Scheduler servers (slaves only for multi-node cluster), e.g. firewall with respective port is opened between QS Scheduler and DB instances;
- if you're using ODBC connection, it needs to be created on all slave QS Scheduler machines;
- Connection exist on QS server and service account has a "read" permission to it;
Continue narrowing down the issue to find out the root cause.
