VERY SLOW script to load from ISERIES ACCESS ODBC DRIVER in QlikSense April 2018

Hi everybody,

After upgrading to the April version I noticed a slowdown in loading the script from the ODBC connection with the ISERIES ACCESS DRIVER.

After several attempts:

- uninstalled / reinstalled Qlik

- uninstalled / reinstalled ODBC driver

- creation of a new application

- new ODBC configuration

- installation of Qlik (program only) April + QVConnector February

the problem is still present.

For the moment I solved by uninstalling the April version and reinstalling the February version.

Has anyone happened to the same thing?

We have the same problem at a client.

It is a bug in the april release of qliksense. We have a ticket with since 2/5 but qlik is slow at fixing the issue....

Same problem over here ...

As a temporary fix, I've switched some of the apps to the default DB2 connector (https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/ODBC_connector_help/Content/IBM_DB2/IBM-DB2-connec...).

Normally, it's way slower than the iseries adapter but it doesn't seem to be affected by the bug... Reloads are now about 10 times faster ... gives me just enough headroom ...

There is a fix on the way. We received a test version from qlik that works better with the odbc driver.

Yesterday, Qlik release Qlik Sense April 2018 SR1 and solved problem.
