Hello,
I want to create a connection Microsoft SQL Server
but i get an error message :
Error message: Please check the values for Username‚ Password‚ Host and other properties. Description: Client unable to establish connection
ERROR [28000] [Qlik][ODBC] (11570) Required credential settings missing: {[PWD]}.
ERROR [08001] [Qlik][ODBC] (10380) Unable to establish connection with data source. Missing settings: {[PWD]}
It sounds like you didn't enter the password...?
In the connection popup, make sure you scroll down and fill all the necessary fields.
well, i don't have a password, therefore i didn't enter any and i filled all of the fields, at least i think so..
My understanding is that a password is required unless you use single sign on for your SQL Server, in which case you should select that setting. However, I'm not an expert on SQL Server security requirements, so perhaps this is not the case.
Hello @Marych ,
Are you using SA Account or Windows authentication? Do you have DB_owner and Sysadmin access?
Please test the connectivity from Qlik Application hosted server to Database following the below link:
