connecting Postgresql db via ssh ?

Hello, does anybody has experience how to get a postgresql dbase connection via ssh? I have tried the 2 possibilities with and without via Direct Access gateway.I don't know what to choose. I have set up a ssh tunnel with mobaXterm. But I dont' get the connection to work. If I choose connection via Direct Access gateway I do not see the ssh tunnel
